Our third music video for Newcastle band Crux is one of the most ambitious we’ve produced. Due to the world still in the thick of a pandemic and a strict lockdown, we were limited with what we could film to portray this dystopian world painted by Crux in Living in Dystopia. The song covers a huge range of topics such as warfare, inequality, poverty, greed, mental health issues. To portray all these issues, we used several online stock footage websites. The band joined in, helping find clips they like for each section they were assigned; involving the band even in production made it an even bigger team effort. The clips were then all compiled and organised based on topic and theme and edited within Adobe Premiere Pro.
